Message from the president
Young Tennesseans have the unique opportunity to build power, community, and a brighter future for the beautiful state we call home.
All too often, the so-called “leadership” exhibited by our Republican-controlled state government, and sometimes even by our own party, leaves Young Tennesseans without a strong community to learn from.
Young Democrats have a duty to elect and support Democrats who will fight and build that community with us.

HOW WE WIN
I.
Show up
Every door knocked. Every vote registered. Every election, no matter the odds. Tennessee Young Dems show up because that’s how supermajorities flip.
II.
A Tennessee We can Afford
Rent is too high. Gas costs too much. Corporate money runs the show. Young Tennesseans deserve to afford the place they call home.
III.
Protect EACH Other
None of us are free until all of us are free. Our state legislature tests that promise again and again. We show up for each other every time. That’s not changing.
IV.
Building the Bench
Tennessee’s future belongs to the people who stay and fight for it. We’re building the bench, the chapters, and the community to make that fight winnable.
